“ Russ’ feels like a step back in time! Warm, friendly atmosphere that connects you to the local community. Kind employees. Good food and coffee... what more do you need? This location always has fresh bread baking and it smells fantastic. I appreciate the variety of soups... especially in the winter. You should really check out this spot! ”
“ Our waitress didnt smile. And you could tell she was not happy with people coming to enjoy a meal before the Tulip time parade started. Also when asked to change the one check into two she was angry.snapped the check off the table. So service was not good. ”
“ Have great comfort food with Dutch food. Have bakery items for sale. I ordered the Gouda burger supreme and it was delightful. Waitress Cora did an excellent job with keeping our drinks filled and making sure we were satisfied. ”
“ I got the Philly French dip and sweet potato fries! My friend got the salad with chicken. Other friend got the Reuben. All very good! Oreo milkshakes are delicious. We will have to go back to try the raspberry. Waitstaff was very cheery, even on the Friday after thanksgiving. It’s a Holland classic. ”
“ I was in with a large group of other business owners for breakfast. Our server was Jenni. She was so sweet, fast and professional! She had to handle a ton of tables but took great care of us! All the food was exactly as ordered. Crispy hash browns and my eggs were cooked to perfection. She had no problem with handling our special requests in a timely fashion and we felt right at home. Plentiful coffee refills helped too! I will definitely continue to take my clients here for important breakfasts. ”
“ Just an all-around good diner. Our waitress was wonderful and helpful with suggestions on what to do in the area. We had no problem getting in and the menu was quite varied. They close at 2:00 so keep that in mind. ”
“ Zoey was great, even after having taken care of a bus of people with one other server. She was up beat and gratuitous for our being there. Full of knowledge about the restaurant and its history. The food was wonderfully like homemade. The hamburger bun was fresh made and flaky. Might still be using lard like grandma did. Fish was like and tasty and fries just right. If I lived closer this would be our comfort food place to go. ”
“ Affordable, fabulous food, and fast service. We took our whole family for breakfast-7 people-immediate seating and great variety. We love their pig in the blankets. My corned beef hash was fried to perfection and my Sunnyside up eggs were just right. Lots of bread varieties-I had sourdough toast. We love Russ'! ”
